EXPERIENCED

Effective legal representation requires attorneys with a comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry and its practices, procedures and principles. At Gregory, Meyer & Chapnick, P.C., we have acquired that knowledge through many years of practice and have retained a staff of seasoned attorneys who have concentrated on first and third-party insurance defense for most of their legal careers. In particular, first-party property insurance claims and policy coverage litigation constitute a specialized category of cases where our “between the lines” understanding of the issues and people involved help our clients achieve the results they expect. We are committed to developing long and enduring client relationships through professionalism, communication, cost-effective litigation and claims management strategies and the application of modern technology.

RESOURCEFUL

We offer more than just legal research, advocacy and litigation services. Our cutting-edge knowledge, coupled with our experience, permits us to provide targeted advice and counsel to assist claims professionals in all aspects of claim management, including expert selection, preservation of evidence, investigation, appraisal and other claims strategies. Our advice and recommendations are always focused on cost efficiencies, so that the evidence and coverage issues can be identified and assessed as soon as possible without wasted time and effort.

EFFECTIVE

Case assignments within our firm are governed by the type of case, expertise required and client input, where desired. Whether property or casualty, we provide dedicated analysis and results-oriented recommendations so that our clients have the best information and advice available upon which to base claims decisions in a timely manner.

EDUCATION

We actively sponsor and participate in educational programs and seminars for the benefit of the insurance industry including the Property and Liability Loss Managers Conference and the National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators, among others. We also conduct in-house seminars and provide clients with advice and recommend resources to assist their operations. Periodically, we publish an electronic newsletter, “News From The Front,” to highlight new cases and issues affecting the insurance industry.
