Michele A. Chapnick is the principal shareholder in Gregory, Meyer & Chapnick, P.C. and has concentrated her practice on first-party property and liability insurance coverage litigation, arson and fraud claims, complex subrogation and general civil litigation since 1993. Ms. Chapnick has represented insurers in property, general liability and professional liability coverage disputes throughout the country and has litigated and tried multi-million dollar cases. Ms. Chapnick has advised insurers on claims practices and procedures to promote efficient investigation and resolution of property insurance claims. She was the author of the Michigan Chapter on the Uniform Trade Practices Act for the Defense Research Institute in 2007. Ms. Chapnick is a frequent lecturer and panelist at insurance industry forums and presents in-house seminars to insurers on topical subjects.
