Kurt D. Meyer
Kurt D. Meyer is a shareholder in Gregory, Meyer & Chapnick, P.C. and has focused his practice on first and third-party property insurance law, arson, fraud and complex subrogation litigation since 1986. Mr. Meyer began practicing law in 1985 as Assistant City Attorney for Allen Park, Michigan where he worked closely with law enforcement and fire officials. During his legal career, Mr. Meyer has successfully litigated insurance matters in state and federal trial courts and courts of appeals.
Mr. Meyer also serves as a property insurance appraiser and umpire in insurance coverage disputes. He participates as a speaker and panelist at various insurance industry functions and conducts educational training seminars for claims professionals. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Meyer was an underwriting inspector for an independent insurance inspection service company.
